About Us

Hello, we areLustreer.

Lighting that feels personal, not ordinary.

A small introduction

We make lights from ideas, not templates.

Lustreer is not about repeating what is already common. Each piece begins with a specific thought about proportion, material, glow, and the quiet role a light can play in everyday life.

Original form

A real idea first.

Not copied from what is already common, but shaped from a clear design reason.

Warm presence

Quiet, not loud.

A light should soften the room around it without asking for too much attention.

Real rooms

Made to belong.

The final test is whether it feels natural once it enters someone's home.

Originality

Originality starts with a reason.

Our products do not begin from what is already common in the market. They begin from a small design thought: a curve, a shade structure, a texture, or the feeling a room should have when the light comes on.

The Briar floor lamp began with countryside florals, willow-like curves, parasol pleats, and the softer feeling of fabric. Details like these make a piece feel designed, not assembled.

01 / Inspiration

A floral mood, a willow-like curve, and a softer fabric feeling become the starting point.

IDEAS

Not copied. Considered.

Every Lustreer piece starts with a design reason: how the form sits, how the material feels, and how the glow belongs in a real room.

How we look at a light

Beyond the first glance.

We do not judge a light only by how striking it looks in a photo. We care more about whether it feels lasting, comfortable, honest, and naturally at home in a real room.

01

Original form

A clear, lasting silhouette.

The silhouette should be clear and lasting, not rely on exaggeration.

Glow

Comfortable, not harsh.

Not brighter, but more comfortable and natural.

03

Material

Real feeling up close.

Materials should feel honest, with visual and tactile substance.

Fit

Quietly at home.

It should belong in the room as if it was always meant to be there.

Originality in the pieces

Different lights, different reasons.

Each Lustreer light is shaped by deliberate choices in form, material, glow, and the way it belongs in a real room.

Rattan is not only a material choice. Its open weave changes the shadow, softens the edge of the glow, and makes the fixture feel relaxed rather than heavy.

We show the details that matter before a light arrives: scale, finish, material, and how the piece is meant to sit in a room.

Designer column

The people behind the ideas.

Every Lustreer light begins with people making careful decisions about form, material, and atmosphere. Their notes share the memories and thinking that give each piece its character.

Good design should meet real needs and fit naturally into everyday life.

I’m Aurel Li, an industrial designer at Lustreer.
Good design should meet real needs and fit naturally into everyday life.
At a low point in my life, a simple desk lamp quietly kept me company. Its warm glow gave me the strength to begin again and led me to explore light.
A lamp has form; light does not. It can awaken materials, reshape spaces, and gently shift our emotions.
I refine each piece until it feels restrained but never cold, expressive but never loud. I hope it becomes a quiet gift waiting at homeβ€”a little warmth after life’s harder days.

I care most about how people feel when a light comes on.

A camera preserves light from the past, while a lamp creates light for the present.

I'm Syra, a lighting designer who loves photography.
My connection to light began during an intense period of art training. My days were filled with drawing, painting, and practice. In our small studio, one window became my favorite place. Morning light filtered through the haze, while the evening glow fell across my unfinished work. That was when I began to notice how light could shape a feeling. I later turned to photography to capture those fleeting moments. During my first internship in lighting, I realized that a camera preserves light from the past, while a lamp creates light for the present.
Today, as a lighting designer, I care most about how people feel when a light comes on. I want my work to bring the same quiet comfort as that studio windowβ€”to be there when someone feels tired, alone, or comes home late, and to make everyday moments worth remembering.
