The entire chandelier series draws inspiration from three types of natural handmade ceramic objects: earthenware bowls, vintage medicine jars, and rough pottery storage bottles. The wide, bowl-shaped lampshade replicates the warm, inverted curve of a handmade rough pottery basin, while the vertical cylindrical and waisted bottle-shaped lampshades are inspired by the natural shapes of folk handmade water storage jars and medicine jars. Abandoning intricate carvings and sharp edges, the soft, rounded curves restore the relaxed texture of handmade pottery. The combination of brass hanging rods and matte ceramic lampshades echoes the design concept of the original collision of natural materials. The simple geometric shapes weaken the decorative oppressive feeling of the lamps, allowing them to become soft containers of light and shadow in the space.
